City Theatre Features Gary Hoey, 11/26

By: Sep. 20, 2010

World renowned rock guitarist Gary Hoey will bring his "Rockin' Holiday Tour 2010" to the City Theatre on Friday, Nov. 26 at 8:00 p.m.

Gary Hoey's popular "Ho Ho Hoey" series of Christmas CDs and on-air station visits during the holiday season have become an annual staple at hundreds of radio stations nationwide. Moreover, his live interpretation, aptly named "Ho Ho Hoey's Rockin' Holiday Show" continues to grow new fans each year - so much so that Hallmark's musical greeting cards feature two of Gary's "Ho Ho Hoey" classics.

Hoey takes his singer/songwriter talents to the next level with his brand new release, Utopia (available now). With a collection of 16 albums and five top-20 Billboard hits, it's no wonder Gary Hoey is listed as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. Whether it's rock, blues, surf or Christmas, Hoey's command of each style makes his live show one of the most exciting on the circuit today.

City Theatre is located inside of Hockeytown Café at 2301 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48201.

Tickets ($27) go on sale Friday, Sept. 24 at 10:00 a.m. and may be purchased OlympiaEntertainment.com, the Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge), at all Ticketmaster locations, Ticketmaster.com and at the City Theatre box office, located inside Hockeytown Cafe.
