Chris Siefert Announced as New Board Chair of East End Special Players

The board of the East End Special Players has announced the appointment of Chris Siefert as the new Chair. Siefert brings 20 years of non-profit management experience to the EESP, a theater group of learning challenged adults who have been performing in our area for the past 30 years.

Bay Street Welcomes Artistic Associate Josh Wilder

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the addition of playwright and producer Josh Wilder as Artistic Associate. Josh will originate this newly created position alongside Artistic Director Scott Schwartz and Associate Artistic Director Will Pomerantz, and newly added Literary Manager, Hope Villanueva, to develop Mainstage productions, new works, and special projects on behalf of Bay Street Theater.
Adelphi Alumni Launch Two New Virtual Theatre Festivals

The Spring Fever series, which will run over three weekends beginning Friday, April 16, through Sunday, May 2, will feature 12 new works featuring Adelphi alumni and faculty. The festival, created by the Adelphi Alumni Playwrights Group (AAPG), started as a workshop in June 2020 to reignite creativity among playwrights during the pandemic lockdown.
OPTIMISM to be Presented by The Molloy College Art Department

The Molloy College Art Department has announced OPTIMISM, an exhibition presenting the senior projects of the graduating fine arts and visual arts education majors at Molloy College. The Museum At Bethel Woods Presents Sensory-Friendly Museum Days

The Basics of Singing, led by Amanda Jones, is held Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. starting March 31. Registration is $150 for six sessions; drop-in rates are available for $35 per class.
