Pippin is a 1972 musical following the young idealistic Prince Pippin as he searches for a meaningful "extraordinary" life. Guided by a theatrical troupe and the manipulative Leading Player. Throughout the course of the musical Pippin explores war, romance, and politics only to find them unsatisfying. Ultimately Pippin discovers that true fulfillment lies in the simple and ordinary moments of life rather than grand achievements.
