ack in Black (1980) was legendary rock group ACDC's sixth international studio album but the first to feature Brian Johnson as lead singer following the death of previous lead singer Bon Scott. Classic Albums Live performs the 25x Platinum album in its entirety, note-for-note and cut-for-cut, including megahits “Hells Bells,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” “Shoot to Thrill,” and of course, title song “Back in Black.”

The play is a farcical dark comedy revolving around the Brewster family, descended from the Mayflower settlers but now composed of maniacs, most of them homicidal. The hero, Mortimer Brewster, is a drama critic who must deal with his crazy, murderous family and local police in Brooklyn, New York, as he debates whether to go through with his recent promise to marry the woman he loves, Elaine Harper, who lives next door and is the daughter of the local minister. Through a form of dramatic expression called a choreopoem, the work illuminated civil unrest in modern society through poetry, dance, music, and song, challenging the ideology of public demonstration for the sake of social change and addressing the complexity of the purpose, struggle, and hierarchy of organized protest.

CAPA to Lift Health Screening Requirements and Make Masks Optional at all Venues Beginning April 4

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm, and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. BLACK VIOLIN Returns To The Palace in April

Black Violin is the Grammy-nominated band led by classically trained string players Wil B. (viola) and Kev Marcus (violin). Joining them onstage are DJ SPS and drummer Nat Stokes. The band uses their unique blend of classical and hip-hop music to overcome stereotypes while encouraging people of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds to join together to break down cultural barriers.
