Playhouse South Presents A Theater Under the Stars Production Of ANNIE 8/13-22

Playhouse South Community Theatre through special arrangement with Music Theater International will present a Theater Under the Stars production of America's most beloved musical, ANNIE. Audiences will have the chance to see this timeless tale about never giving up hope at the North Park amphitheater in Springboro on August 13 -22, 2010. All performances are Friday -Sunday at 7:30 pm.

ANNIE is the heartwarming story of a feisty, red-headed orphan determined to find her birth parents as she travels from an orphanage run by the awful Miss Hannigan to the mansion of multibillionaire Oliver Warbucks. Winner of seven Tony Awards, ANNIE is based upon the popular comic strip, Little Orphan Annie, and boasts one of Broadway's most memorable scores including "It's A Hard Knock Life," "NYC" and the optimistic "Tomorrow."
The cast includes almost seventy actors, singers, and dancers from around Dayton and Cincinnati, including over thirty talented children. Under the leadership of Director Jennifer N. Shaw-Smyth and her crew, they have been working hard to put on an exciting and entertaining show! ANNIE is a great way to support your community theatre and spend a summer evening under the stars your whole family will enjoy!
