Beavercreek Community Theatre's youth program is offering a one-night auditioning class in anticipation of its upcoming audtitions for "The Patchwork Girl of Oz.
The class, for ages 8 to 18, will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2 at Beavercreek Community Theatre, located in the Lofino Center, 3868 Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek.Pre-registration is required and can be made by emailing kids@bctheatre.org or leaving a message at (937) 429-4737, including the student's name, age, phone number and a parent's name. The cost is $10, payable at the door.This class is not required to audition for "The Patchwork Girl of Oz" but it is being made available to help those young people who may not be familiar with the auditioning process. Auditions for "The Patchwork Girl of Oz" are scheduled for March 9 and 10.Those auditioning should come prepared with a memorized, one-minute monolgue. There will be instruction on improving presentation and practice cold script reading.Videos
