Jennifer Sanchez, Alyssa Fox and More Set for COLORS FOR CASIE Benefit at New World Stages

On Monday, May 30th at 8:30pm, The Green Room at New World Stages will be hosting a benefit concert for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

The full lineup includes Jennifer Sanchez (On Your Feet, Ghost, Spider-Man, West Side Story), Alyssa Fox (Wicked), Lizzie Hagstedt (The Public Theater's Southern Comfort), Lee Slobotkin (Wicked - National Tour), as well as Lindsey Mader, Damian Norfleet, Jamie Hartmann and Kenneth-Kyle Martinez!

A fun note for the evening: Come wearing your BOLDEST and most COLORFUL attire! The inspiration for this comes from the #ColorsForCasie team participating in the AFSP event on June 4th called the "Out of the Darkness" Overnight Walk - a 17-mile dusk-til-dawn walk in New York City to raise funds/awareness for suicide, suicide prevention, depression, and depression treatment.

From the Colors for Casie page: "The hope for this [event] is that we bring color into the lives of those who can no longer see it, who have forgotten it, or who have resigned themselves to places without the hope of color and light.

"For every donation, I ask that we encourage the donor to include their favorite color - or one that has meaning to them - and on the evening of The Overnight Walk we will adorn ourselves with those colors - in some way - to acknowledge the friends and family who are with us on our journey, June 4th and always."
