The Show

The Broadway hit, A Bronx Tale: The Musical is based on the critically acclaimed play that inspired the classic film. It is a streetwise musical that takes the audience to the stoops of the Bronx in the 1960's where a young man is caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he'd love to be.

A Bronx Tale is directed by Robert DeNiro and Jerry Zaks, written by Chaz Palminteri with songs by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, choreography by Sergio Trujillo and produced by Tommy Mottola, Tribecca Productions and Evamere Entertainment. The show features an all-star cast that includes Nick Cordero, Bobby Conte Thornton and Ariana DeBose. A Bronx Tale is now playing at the Longacre Theatre on Broadway.

The Restaurant

In celebration of A Bronx Tale, The Musical, Chazz's own Chazz Palminteri Ristorante Italiano has introduced a special four-course prix fixe menu. The menu includes your choice of one Antipasti, Secondi, Entrata, and Dessert for $79 per person. Before or after you're whisked back in time to the Bronx in the 1960s, you can head to Chazz's restaurant and have a "Chazz Night Out" where you can savor an Italian meal as much as you enjoy the play.

For the Entrata or entrée, you can order the aptly named "A Bronx Tail," a lobster tail with clams, mussels, shrimp over chopped leeks and peppers served with a white wine saffron sauce. Other standouts are the "Pasta Over Broadway" with Paccheri pasta sautéed with chopped eggplant, meatballs and fresh plum tomato sauce topped with fresh mozzarella or the "Polla Alla Parmigiana" their chicken cutlet lightly breaded and pan-fried with tomato sauce and mozzarella.

Chazz Palminteri Ristorante Italiano is having its big debut with metro area audiences. The restaurant is located at 890 Second Avenue in New York City. Call 212-355-5540 or visit http://chazzpalminterinyc.com/.
