(10/22/2018) - Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to announce its first production of its 2018/19 season in its new home at 456 Main Street! The 2018/19 season will open October 26th with Tony Award-nominated Speed-the-Plow by David Mamet starring Matt Witten, Kevin Kennedy and Laura Barrierie under the direction of RLTP Artistic Director Scott Behrend. The production team includes Dyan Burlingame (set design), John Rickus (light design), Maura A. Simmonds-Price (costume design/props), and Katie Menke (sound design).

(08/13/2018) - The year is 1929, and Tampa-based cigar rollers Marela and Ofelia anxiously await the arrival of their new, dashingly handsome "lectore." Anna in the Tropics is written by Nilo Cruz and won the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 2003. The play centers around the common Cuban tradition in which lectors are employed by cigar factories to educate and entertain the workers through the reading of novels. The arrival of a new lector is a cause for celebration, but when he begins to read aloud from Anna Karenina, he unwittingly becomes a catalyst in the lives of his avid listeners, for whom Tolstoy, the tropics, and the American dream prove a volatile combination.

(04/23/2018) - Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) concludes its 2017/18 season with the topic of faith in its upcoming Western New York-premiere production of The Christians by Lucas Hnath. The Christians, nominated for 2016 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play, will star Dave Hayes, Aaron Moss, Steve Jakiel, Victoria Perez, and Lisa Vitrano under the direction of RLTP Artistic Director Scott Behrend.  Production team includes: Dyan Burlingame (set design), John Rickus (light design), Maura A. Simmonds-Price (costume design/props), John Shotwell (sound design). The Christians is proudly sponsored by St. John Baptist Church. There will not be a live choir during the performance.

Disgraced, winner of 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and nominated for 2015 Tony Award for Best Play, will star Afrim Gjonbalaj, Kristen Tripp Kelley, Matt Witten, Candace Whitfield, and Mohammad Farraj under the direction of RLTP Associate Artistic Director John Hurley. Production team includes Lynne Koscielniak (set design), John Rickus (light design), Jenna Damberger (costume design), Sam Crystal (props), Katie Menke (sound design) and Adam Rath (violence coordinator). Jackie, a petty drug dealer, is just out of prison and trying to stay clean. He's also still in love with his coke-addicted childhood sweetheart, Veronica. Ralph D. is Jackie's too-smooth, slightly slippery sponsor. He's married to the bitter and disaffected Victoria, who, by the way, has the hots for Jackie. Jackie's gay cousin, Julio, tries to provide the ballast to keep total chaos at bay.
