In Adam Minus Josh by Dan Fingerman (Boys of a Certain Age), Adam and Josh have been together for eight years... only now they're not and everyone has an opinion. Fingerman's new comedy examines the chaos of gay dating culture, skewers our need for social media, and gives voice to Adam who must now navigate an entirely new dating world while trying to figure out who he is and what's next. Aided by an oddball neighbor, a profligate friend, and his suburban sister Rachel, it's quite literally Adam minus Josh.
Mita Nag, Hassan Haider & Subhen Chatterjee Bring Indian Music To Brooklyn

This special concert brings together three outstanding performers of Indian music and provides an opportunity to hear the shehnai (oboe), an instrument rarely heard in the Indian classical repertoire today. Featured are Mita Nag, a master of improvisation, who comes from a famous family of musicians, including her father, veteran sitarist Manilal Nag, and grandfather, master musician Gokul Nag; the brilliant shehnai player Hassan Haider, son and disciple of the famed maestro Ali Ahmed Hussain, who has performed and toured internationally with his father and other notable artists; and Subhen Chatterjee, a powerful tabla player and disciple of Swapan Chaudhuri, who has appeared with many of India's major artists.

NOGO Arts announces its inaugural production, Untether, featuring the work of seven LGBTQ identified artists over three nights at the Muriel Schulman Theater at Triskelion Arts. Co-sponsored by Triskelion Arts, Untether brings visual arts, contemporary dance, solo performance, and puppetry together to celebrate the individual free from convention and expectation. Untether releases itself from traditional presentations of work. Queer|Art, NYC's home for the creative and professional development of LGBTQ artists, is proud to introduce the Eva Yaa Asantewaa Grant for Queer Women(+) Dance Artists. The new $10,000 grant will be awarded to US-based artists for making cutting-edge dance and movement-based performance work. Women(+): The Eva Yaa Asantewaa Grant employs an expansive definition of the word "woman.' Queer|Art strongly encourages self-identified women, gender-nonconforming, and non-binary artists to apply. The 2018 grant is administered through Queer|Art by women(+) for women(+), including an intergeneratinal panel of judges from New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Named in honor of visionary dance curator, critic, and educator Eva Yaa Asantewaa, the grant seeks to highlight the important contributions queer women have made to dance throughout history.
