The Strand Offers A New Improv Workshop, OFF THE CUFF!, Begins 4/26

By: Feb. 23, 2011

OFF THE CUFF Comedy Improv class will begin at the Strand Theater Company! This class is for beginners and intermediate level improv enthusiasts. You don't need any experience to learn improv. Improv is a fun way to get in touch with all those characters that are somewhere inside of you.

Classes will be in 10 week sessions with the last class in the session culminating in a performance for friends and family. During the 10 week workshop, you will learn the origins of improv, the different styles of improv, and the components that make up comedy improv.

Classes begin Tuesday, April 26 and take place every Tuesday from 7:30pm-9:30pm until June 28, 2011. Classes are limited to 15 participants. Classes are $15 each. Enroll in the entire 10 week session for a discounted price of $135 (and a guaranteed spot!). Participants "dropping in" should arrive at least 10 minutes before each class.

For more information, please email class instructor Mattie Rogers: mrogers@strandtheatercompany.org or visit: www.strandtheatercompany.org
