The Howard County Arts Council (HCAC) welcomes three community leaders to its Board of Directors. Earl Armiger, Mary Kay Kenney, and George H. Wilson join a dynamic group led by Board President Mark Coates, Associate Professor, Notre Dame of Maryland University.

In welcoming the new members, Coates said, "The Arts Council's stature as a model multi-purpose arts agency and advocate for the arts is due, in large part, to strong governance. As incoming President of the Board, I look forward to working with the new and existing Board members to foster the arts and connect people with the arts."

The new members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the Arts Council Board:

Earl Armiger | Orchard Development Founder and CEO of Orchard Development, Earl Armiger is a nationally recognized leader in the home-building industry, and a past recipient of the Home Builders Association of Maryland's Builder of the Year award. Mary Kay Kenney | Maryland University of Integrative Health Mary Kay Kenney's professional background includes extensive experience in recruitment and outreach, development and promotion, and grants administration. She has also been active in volunteer work for such organizations as Columbia Festival of the Arts, Harmony Hall Retirement Center, and American Visionary Art Museum.
