Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre hosts Bull, Oyster and Shrimp Feast Fundraiser 10/16

Maryland's oldest summer theatre, Cockpit in Court, will host a Bull, Oyster and Shrimp Feast from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at Columbus Gardens, 4301 Klosterman Avenue in Nottingham. This fundraiser will benefit future programming at Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre. Tickets are $40 each and available through the CCBC Box Office at 443-840-ARTS (2787). Please make checks payable to Cockpit in Court. RSVPs are requested by Oct. 8, 2010.

The October 16 event promises to be a fun fest with music, money wheel, 50/50s and a silent auction. Food will be served from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. The highlight of the event will be the announcement of Cockpit's 2011 season.

Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, Essex, has been providing high-quality live theatre experiences for the entire family at affordable prices for almost 40 years. James Hunnicutt, a veteran Cockpit actor and director, serves as its managing director.

All performances of Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre are held on the Mainstage in the B Building Theatre, in the Cabaret Theatre (Cockpit in Court's in-the-round venue, located on the second floor of the B Building) or in the J Building Lecture Hall (J-137) on the campus of The Community College of Baltimore County, Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.
