Tony Award-winner Hugh Jackman will return to the New York stage for a 10-week engagement in Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway, beginning previews on October 25, 2011. Opening night has been set for November 10; the production will run through January 1, 2012.

Accompanied by an 18-piece orchestra, Hugh Jackman will perform a personal selection of his favorite musical numbers that reflect on the stage and film star's remarkable life and career, from The Boy from Oz to Hollywood.

"I can't believe it's been 7 years since I was singing and dancing on Broadway," said Hugh Jackman. "There is nothing like performing on the Great White Way and I'm so excited to be coming ‘home.'"

Jackman rose to movie star status with the 2000 film "X-Men", sticking with the series through "The Wolverine" which is set for a 2013 release. Check out the stage and screen star talking about the new movie with MTV below!
