Cringe Humor Entertainment is pleased to announce today the production of Mike DeStefano's new one man show Drugs, Disease and Death: A Comedy. A finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing and the critically acclaimed author of Bada Bing, Bada Buddha will debut with a preview week of shows on February 7, 2011 at the Producer's Club Theater in New York City.

DeStefano is one of the most unique and powerful voices in the world of comedy. He speaks his truth in a way that is sometimes disturbing, but always refreshing. His style is fearless as he probes into the heart of issues that most people would rather ignore. He has the ability of taking pain and tragedy and spinning them into hilarious laughter. His new one man show will go even deeper into his checkered past that includes growing up in the Bronx, battling a heroin addiction and losing his wife to AIDS.

"I'm looking forward to getting this story out there and connecting with audience members on a whole different level," says DeStefano. "There's a lot of people that can relate to where I come from and some of the obstacles that have brought me to this point in my life."

After years of producing some of the best stand-up comedy in the country, Cringe Humor is excited to be part of this project. "Mike DeStefano is one of the best stand-up comedians in the world, but this show is so much more than stand-up," says Cringe Humor, CEO Patrick Milligan. "We've worked with some of the biggest names in comedy, but this is by far and away the most fulfilling show we've ever put together. I can't wait for Mike's fans, our fans and theater goers to see this for themselves."

This is a change of pace for DeStefano as he winds down from the Last Comic Standing tour. Mike has been busy in the last year touring throughout the country as well as debuting on Comedy Central Presents. Mike has also been seen on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Showtime's White Boyz in the Hood and HBO's Aspen Comedy Festival.
