Constantine Maroulis to Teach Masterclass in San Fransisco, 1/25

Tony Award nominee and Broadway rock star Constantine Maroulis will lead Straight From New York's upcoming Musical Theatre Masterclass in San Francisco on January 25th.

The class takes place on Sunday, January 25th at 4:00PM - 7:00PM, American Conservatory Theatre, 30 Grant Ave. (8th Floor Studios) San Francisco, CA 94108

Constantine Maroulis is a Tony Award nominee who burst onto the scene on the fourth season of American Idol alongside country superstar Carrie Underwood. His fame from 30 million viewers mixed with his prior solid training in musical theatre led him to Broadway, where he helped turn Rock of Ages into a worldwide brand -- National tour, long-running Broadway stint, cameo in the 2012 Film and garnered him his first Tony Award nomination for Best Actor. From there, he revived Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway with a brand new concept album and a pre-Broadway national tour. Constantine continues to remain Broadway's leading contemporary rock voice. Constantine Maroulis will be working with musical theatre performers. Song interpretation, acting skills, connecting through song, as well as audition techniques. How to land the roles you want, getting callbacks, determining your "type," choosing the right material, and valuable industry information on how to make it in NYC.
