All Out: Comedy About Ambition

Plot: A lonely waitress and a mysterious drifter form an intense romance. What begins as a simple connection between two broken people in a seedy Oklahoma motel room twists into something far more dangerous. When reality slips out of grasp, paranoia, delusion, and conspiracy take over in this sexy psychological thriller.
Why to See It: From Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts and Tony Award-winning director David Cromer, this production of Bug comes to Broadway following its 2021 run at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre, starring three-time Emmy Award nominee and Tony Award nominee Carrie Coon.

Plot: It’s 1943, and the Allied Forces are on the ropes. Luckily, they’ve got a trick up their sleeve. Well, not up their sleeve, per se, but rather inside the pocket of a stolen corpse. Equal parts farce, thriller, and Ian Fleming-style spy caper (with an assist from Mr. Fleming himself), Operation Mincemeat tells the wildly improbable and hilarious true story of the covert operation that turned the tide of WWII.
Why to See It: Operation Mincemeat began as a tiny (and tiny-budgeted) production at London’s New Diorama Theatre. The show quickly gained a devoted following, spurring sold-out runs at venues including Southwark Playhouse and Riverside Studios. It finally premiered in the West End on May 9, 2023 at the Fortune Theatre, where it received rave reviews, continues to play to standing-room-only crowds, and has cultivated one of London’s most fervent fanbase, affectionately dubbed “Mincefluencers."

Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Why to See It: The play made its world premiere at the Phoenix Theatre in London's West End, where it is currently breaking box office records and is now on sale through February 16, 2025. Based on an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, it is rooted in the mythology and world of the Netflix global phenomenon series.

Why to See It: Tony Award winner Jonathan Groff will return to Broadway in this world premiere, which is developed and directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers.
Mamma Mia!

Plot: On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they had last visited decades ago. Why to See It: To date, MAMMA MIA! has been seen in 50 productions in 16 different languages grossing more than $7 billion at the box office. The show has played continuously to packed houses in London since 1999, making it the third-longest running musical in West End history. This will be the first ever revival of the beloved musical.

Why to See It: James Graham’s Punch, based on the true-life book Right from Wrong by Jacob Dunne, earned five-star reviews when it premiered last year at Nottingham Playhouse and recently transferred to The Young Vic in London.

Plot: Vladimir and Estragon, wait endlessly for someone named Godot, who never arrives. The play explores themes of existentialism, the passage of time, and the human condition, often through absurd and darkly humorous dialogue.
Why to See It: Two-time Tony Award nominee and multiple Olivier Award winner Jamie Lloyd will direct this new production of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting For Godot starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, who have a friendship that spans 35 years and began during the filming of the 1989 classic comedy Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

Plot: Ragtime is a sweeping musical adaption of E.L. Doctorow’s novel that follows three fictional families in pursuit of the American Dream at the dawn of the 20th Century: Black pianist Coalhouse Walker, Jr. and his beloved Sarah, Jewish immigrant Tateh and his little girl, and a wealthy white family led by matriarch Mother. All grasping for the same dream, if only they can hold onto it.
Why to See It: Lear deBessonet kicks off her inaugural season as Lincoln Center Theater's Artistic Director with her acclaimed New York City Center Gala revival of Ragtime, starring Tony nominee Joshua Henry, Olivier and Grammy nominee Caissie Levy, and Tony Award-winner Brandon Uranowitz reprising their roles.

Plot: Liberation is a funny, time-bending, and deeply moving new play that brings to life a group of women in 1970s Ohio who gather in the basement of the local Y for a weekly consciousness-raising group—as they find their place in a new wave of feminism taking hold around them. While their candid conversations unfold with humor, heart, and vulnerability, the play explores how everyday moments spark lasting change.
Why to See It: Liberation comes to Broadway following its world premiere earlier this year at Roundabout Theatre Company, where it won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play. This strictly limited engagement will last for only 14 weeks!

Plot: Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, Beetlejuicetells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes.
