BWW speaks to Lou Sanders about her 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show What's That Lady Doing?.

What can you tell us about What's That Lady Doing?

It's hosted by me with me also in it, so already you're wanting a slice of the pie I'll bet!

What was the inspiration behind the show?

Rosemary Conely (the fitness lady from GMTV), Ofcom (the communication regulators), a dragon called Poopy and the very fabric of life itself.

You are often included in the "best jokes of the fringe" - can you give us an example?

The one which was the both the best and the worst was: The restaurant took an hour to deliver my starter, when it finally arrived I was like "Guys, it's not rocket salad".

Who would you recommend comes to see What's That Lady Doing?

All dem sexy boys. Plus all dem sexy gurls. Plus actually anyone at all over 16. It's a family show (if you're family is over 16).

What's next for you after the Fringe?

Well I'm sneaking across to LA with my great producer from Berks Nest (who are the best heartthrobs in town). Hopefully doing some solo shows there and some muck-about shows with my Bebe gurl Aisling Bea. I've got a short film out around October and I'm writing a feature with Hannah George after that, so a lovely time to be had by all.
