Live Music Returns to MoMA with SUMMERGARDEN 2015 and MoMA NIGHTS
(6/29/2015) - The Museum of Modern Art announces its lineups of free live music events in The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden for summer 2015. On Thursday evenings in July and August, the Museum presents MoMA Nights, with each month featuring a distinct thread of musical performances.

(6/29/2015) - The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Producer-Director Shane Anthony are pleased to present SONGS FOR THE FALLEN, with music and lyrics by Sheridan Harbridge and Basil Hogios and book by Sheridan Harbridge, direct from its hugely successful runs in Sydney and Brisbane in Australia, as part of the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival. Sheridan Harbridge stars. Simon Corfield, Garth Holcombe and Basil Hogios are featured in the cast. Performances begin July 21 and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!
TONYA & NANCY: THE ROCK OPERA to Kick Off NYMF This July
(6/26/2015) - Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera gets its NY premiere as it kicks-off the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) this July. Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera has a concept, book and lyrics by Elizabeth Searle, music by Michael Teoli, and will be directed by David Alpert (If/ Then), with musical direction by Henry Aronson (Rock of Ages), and choreography by Marc Kimelman (A Bronx Tale). Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera will play at the PTC Performing Space (555 West 42nd St.) from July 9 - July 16, 2015.

Lee Strasberg School Brings RED LIGHT WINTER to ITSelF in Poland Today
(6/27/2015) - The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute has been invited to present its production of Adam Rapp's Pulitzer Prize finalist, Red Light Winter, at The International Theatre Schools Festival (ITSelF), today, June 27th to July 1st in Warsaw. This production is directed by Laura Savia and features LSTFI students, Sean Borderes, Shannon Spangler, and Mike Turner.
