National AEA performer, cabaret and recording artist Liz Rubino debuts her latest show, Woman Under The Covers at the Metropoitan Room March 21, 2015! 4:00pm show! Miss Rubino has been hailed a "winking songbird with golden pipes", "a gift from the theatrical gods", "a marvel", a "vocal powerhouse", "showstopping", and more from New York City to Cleveland, Florida to Pennylvania and back!

Woman Under The Covers features music written and performed by artists from Bing Crosby to Broadway, Simon & Garfunkel to Michael Jackson, The Eagles to Dave Matthews and more. The performance features Cory Davis on piano, with Abby Gross, Roger Lewis and David DePanicis. Rubino is set to record the CD following the performance.

After sold-out engagements of the hilarious Suave & The Boner at The Duplex with writer and performance partner John Paul Boukis last year, Liz explores some of her favorite songs by her favorite guys in this shimmering new show. One Night Only!

Liz will donate a portion of the proceeds to the organization, The Hetrick-Martin Institute (www.hmi.org), where she is currently directing West Side Story with the youth. Liz is is a registered drama therapist (MA, NYU), and teaching artist with Liz Rubino National Studios.

LRS youth will also debut their cabaret, Tuned In, at 1:00pm at The Metropolitan Room, March 21 as well. Tuned In features a handful of students ages 11-19 as they explore the art of cabaret in the big city! The show features Brittany Best, Madison Gulfo, Ava Wilson, Vincent Dragos, Jessica Joerndt, Maya Kresic, Taylor Carson and Anthony Scarmack. Cory Davis accompanies with direction by Rubino.
