It's Official! FROZEN's Elsa Set for ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME!Last night, ABC aired the third season finale of its hit fantasy drama series ONCE UPON A TIME. During the episode, viewers got a quick glance at a new character who has arrived in Storybrooke - none other than Elsa from Disney's FROZEN.

The finale featured Jennifer Morrison's Emma, along with Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) as they made their return to the fictional town of Storybrooke along with the Snow Queen herself.

The appearance of the character should come as no surprise to fans, as Disney, the studio behind Frozen, owns the ABC network. In the past, the show has featured such iconic Disney characters as Ariel, Ursula and even the Seven Dwarfs. Few details were revealed about Elsa's backstory on the series.

In a recent interview with Fortune magazine,Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that a stage version of the Oscar winning film, which features voice overs from Broadway stars Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, is headed to Broadway, however no time frame has been set for the project. "We're not demanding speed...We're demanding excellence," Iger explained.

No casting details have been revealed as to who will take on the role of Elsa in the ABC series. For now, fans will have to be content with last night's quick teaser of the princess with her recognizable long blonde hair and sparking Blue dress.

Today, ABC confirmed on 'Once's Official Facebook Page that Elsa will indeed be a character on next season's show, posting "#Frozen is coming to #Once Upon a Time" along with the photo below:
