Thin Air Theatre Company producers are gearing up for a new year at the Butte Theater 139 E. Bennett Avenue, Cripple Creek. The news season starts June 5.

The Fantasticks - June 5-Sept. 26
The Fantasticks, a 1960 musical with music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones, the world's longest-running musical, for 42 years.

Godspell - June 12-Sept. 26
Godspell (an archaic spelling of the word gospel) is a 1970 musical, a series of parables, based on the Gospel of Matthew interspersed with a variety of modern music set primarily to lyrics from traditional hymns.

The Fall Melodrama - Oct. 2-31
An all new fall melodrama is being developed. The show will be followed by an Halloween Olio. More information on this show will be announced in the future.

A Cripple Creek Christmas Carol - Nov. 27-Dec. 31
A Cripple Creek Christmas Carol, a favorite holiday happening in Cripple Creek was first played in Cripple Creek in 2002 and is based on the classic by Charles Dickens.
Tickets: $12.75 Adult; $10.75 Senior; $7.75 Children; $9.75 for groups of 20-plus.

The Butte Opera House Foundation is a 501(c)3 public nonprofit corporation to support community events at the theater.

The Foundation's mission is broken down into five points:
1) To promote activities, projects and programs in the realm of the performing and visual arts within the City of Cripple Creek and neighboring communities.
2) To promote the use of the Butte Opera House and other performing arts venues.
3) To Provide funds for qualifying educational and community projects.
4) To provide advisory and managerial support to the Butte Opera House and the City of Cripple Creek.
5) To engage in other activities in furtherance of the foregoing purposes.
