Join Heeb Magazine and the Office of Cultural Affairs at the Consulate General of Israel for the Oscar party in celebrating the past year in Jewish and Israeli cinema-including Best Feature Nominees Inglourious Basterds and A Serious Man and Best Foreign Language Nominee Ajami. At the newly opened West 3rd Common in NoHo, the live broadcast will be shown on 8 High-Definition TVs, so you can catch all the ass kissing, dresses, insincerity and any wrinkles the botox missed. And to cover the boring parts, hosts Eliot and Ilana Glazer, our favorite brother/sister duo, will provide running commentary throughout the evening. At home, you get about fifteen entertaining minutes, but at the Heeb Oscar party, food, comedy and cheap beer ($3 Yuengling and Miller Lite) make even Best Sound Mixing more thrilling than a nip slip.

Eliot and Ilana Glazer, co-creators and producers of "High School Talent Show" at the Upright Citizens Brigade, perform stand-up and storytelling across New York. Eliot's also the author of the upcoming anthology My Parents Were Awesome.

Where: West 3rd Common, 1 West Third Street, Manhattan, NY, 10012

When: Sunday, March 7, 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Why: $3 Miller Lite and Yuengling

Plus: A live broadcast of the Oscars and live comedy by Eliot and Ilana Glazer

Cost: FREE
