Relive your childhood and share it with a new generation as Shadowbox Live brings an old favorite back to life with Schoolhouse Rock Live! opening on Sunday, March 6th at 2:00 PM at the Shadowbox Live Building, 503 S. Front Street!

The Emmy Award-winning 1970's Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, math, grammar, science, and politics is transformed into a lively musical suitable for the entire family! Schoolhouse Rock Live! is a super energetic, super sweet, and super fun way to learn about everything from adverbs to legislation!

"I cannot tell you what a wonderful, wacky time we are having putting this show together," says Katy Psenicka, Shadowbox Live's Choreographer. "It brings back so many fond memories for people. Plus the music is so upbeat, it's just impossible to not have fun."

Fans of the cartoon will recognize many memorable songs, like Conjunction Junction and I'm Just a Bill. And while you're revisiting what will feel like old friends, the younger kids will be introduced to a host of new characters through crazy fun and wonderfully silly scenes and dance numbers.

"We're incredibly excited because this is only our second production that's 100% family friendly," says Psenicka," and we're really hoping to see lots of kids in the audience."

"Both the young ones and the grown-up ones," laughs Psenicka.

Shadowbox Live presents Schoolhouse Rock Live!, opening on Sunday, March 6 2:00 PM, and playing most Sundays at 2:00 PM through June 26. Tickets are $25, $20 for Students, Seniors and Military, and $10 for ages 12 and under.
