Pumpkin Theatre concludes our 47th Season "A Season of Princes and Princesses" withEnchanted Sleeping Beauty, The Legend of Briar-Rose by Vera Morris with music & lyrics by Bill Francoeur

The King and Queen have a new baby, Princess Briar-Rose. The witch Evilina sets a terrible curse on the young princess. Sixteen years later and it's up to Prince Alexander to come to Briar Rose's rescue and the court's too...for they are all asleep! The zany, loveable characters are as enchanting as Briar-Rose in this family favorite!

Enchanted Sleeping Beauty, The Legend of Briar-Rose is directed by Pumpkin Theatre Company Member, Courtney Proctor, with musical direction by Mandee Ferrier Roberts, costumes by Caroline Jurney, set by Heather Mork, lighting by Helen Garcia Alton, props by Ally Cribbs, and puppets by Valerie Perez-Shire. The cast includes Pumpkin favorites: Bobby Harris, Valerie Perez-Schere, Kelsey Painter, Derek Cooper and John Sadowsky, as well as newcomers: Carson Gregory, Mary Wakefield, Johnna Leary, Sean Kelly, N'shira Fray, Ryan Gunning, and Ava Weintzweig.

Performances take place on May 2, 3, 9, and 10. All shows are at 1 and 3pm and take place at 2905 Walnut Ave, Owings Mills 21117. Produced with permission from Pioneer Drama Service.
