This year, the Festival will include four fully-staged productions featuring professional actors, talk-backs with the authors of the Festival plays, appearances by celebrated members of the LGBT community, plus special events. All proceeds from GAYFEST NYC benefit the Harvey Milk High School. Performances are scheduled from May 6 - June 6, 2010 at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex (312 West 36th Street). Casting will be announced in April.

IN THE HEIGHTS Welcomes Marroquin as 'Daniela' - 6/12/2010

Kevin McCollum, Jeffrey Seller and Jill Furman Willis, the producers of the 2008 Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical In The Heights, announced today that Bianca Marroquin will take over the role of "Daniela" for 9 weeks only from Saturday, June 12, through Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street). In The Heights currently stars Corbin Bleu (through August 17), and beginning August 19 will star American Idol winner Jordin Sparks.


Movin' Out's Cavanaugh Debuts Elton John Show - 6/12/2010

Michael Cavanaugh, made famous for his piano/lead vocals in the Broadway Musical Movin' Out, is debuting a new show, The Songs of Elton John & more together with the Indianapolis Symphony on June 11, 12 and 13, 2010 at the Hilbert Circle Theatre in Indianapolis, IN.
