Feature: DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID at Arizona Broadway Theatre

DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID is coming to Prescott, AZ. Arizona Broadway Theatre completes its six week run with two performances at the Yavapai Performing Arts Center on June 27th.

The show received unanimous praise from critics and has nearly completed its schedule at ABT's home venue in Peoria, AZ, just northwest of Phoenix. Directed by ABT's Executive Producer, the production now moves to the 1,100 seat auditorium on the campus of Yavapai College. Arizona Broadway Theatre fulfills the "Arizona" in their title by taking The Little Mermaid well outside the Valley of the Sun before bringing their successful production to an end.

This is a first time collaboration between ABT and the Prescott venue, and the show, of course, appeals to kids and surely adults with fond memories of the original Disney film. New songs like "In my Wildest Dreams" and "If Only" join beloved favorites like "Part of your World", "Under the Sea", and "Kiss the Girl." And with likely support from the Prescott/Cottonwood area, ABT could find itself satelliting out their work annually or better.
