TV: Exclusive One-on-One with Manoel Felciano

Tony Nominated Manoel Felciano sits down with BroadwayWorld.com's Craig Brockman for this half hour exclusive backstage interview featuring anectodes about his career, researching the role of Tobias, on-stage bloopers, fans and more! This special video also features a performance by Manoel on guitar singing a self-penned tune.

SWEENEY TODD opened on Thursday, November 3 with Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Michael Cerveris leading a ten member cast. SWEENEY TODD has music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler from an adaptation by Christopher Bond. The production is directed and designed by John Doyle, with music supervision and orchestrations by Sarah Travis.

Rounding out the ten member cast are: John Arbo (Jonas Fogg), Donna Lynne Champlin (Pirelli), Diana DiMarzio (Beggar Woman), Manoel Felciano (Tobias Ragg), Alexander Gemignani (The Beadle), Mark Jacoby (Judge Turpin), Benjamin Magnuson (Anthony Hope), Lauren Molina (Johanna).

Before writing Wicked, Stephen Schwartz composed the musical CHILDREN OF EDEN, and this spring a Chicago staged reading of the work will be available to stream online for one weekend only. Michelle Williams appears in the role of Eve in the concert production. Watch a video of Williams performing the song “Spark of Creation”.
