BOOP! The Musical is holding a virtual open call for its title role for the upcoming national tour. Director Jerry Mitchell took to social media to share information about the open call, sharing a link to submit. Betty Boop hopefuls are asked to submit a video of themselves singing "Something To Shout About" using the accompaniment track found here.

The production is seeking a "20s, Female-identifying. Confident, curious, whip-smart, open-hearted, and bold. Searching for what’s 'real' and what’s right. A very talented comic actor and jazz singer with immeasurable star quality, and a very good dancer. Big belt. G2 (G below middle C) to Eb4. PRINCIPAL."
The musical will embark on a North American Tour, opening for its 50-week run in Rochester, NY at the West Herr Auditorium Theatre in Fall 2026. Additional tour cities, dates, and casting for the North American Tour will be announced soon.
