We had the chance to talk about our mutual love of Sammy, what it is like to do this show with Dule Hill and this incredible cast, and what is next for Daniel Watts on his artistic journey. Jamaal Fields-Green burst on the scene in a little show called “Hamilton.” Have you ever heard of it? Then he went on to play Michael Jackson. Ever heard of him? He only books the biggest and best! Jamaal has been MJ in “MJ” on Broadway, the National Tour, and now in the West End in London. Watch in this video.

Today we welcome Brandon Victor Dixon to The Roundtable! This Grammy-winning Tony nominee is a Broadway favorite. He is releasing new music and wants us to all check it out. Actually, we have the sneak peek of his new music video at the end of our chat.

We welcome Broadway’s Velma Kelly herself, Mrs. Sophie Carmen-Jones is here. She hails from the UK where she took over the West End, transferred over to Broadway in Moulin Rouge, toured in Wicked, and has come back to Broadway in Chicago. Watch in this video!

Jeffrey Seller has made the theatre that has changed my life. I will always remember being twelve years old and being obsessed with all that is Rent. This show changed the face of theatre. He did it again with Hamilton and In The Heights as well. His artistic blueprint is all over the DNA of Broadway. Robert Horn's Tony-nominated smash Shucked is hitting the road across the US and is about to have a UK production. Hercules is opening in the West End soon. He is one busy man! Before we head to Tonys season and immerse ourselves with Broadway, I had to chat with one of my favorite voices of all time, Ledisi! She is a Grammy-winning, platinum Superstar with a new album out now, “The Crown”. Watch the full interview in this video.
