BROADWAY BARKS is taking over Shubert Alley again on Saturday, July 14, 2018 for the 20th anniversary of the star-studded dog and cat adoption event that benefits New York City animal rescue groups. The event, co-founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, features Broadway celebrities who use their star power to help find loving homes for animals in need from28 participating NYC area shelters.

Broadway's sexiest dancers will bring the heat to Fire Island when Broadway Bares returns with sizzling striptease on Saturday, June 2, 2018. New York City's best dancers will share their hottest moves and toned bodies in two highly produced performances of Broadway Bares Fire Island at 7 pm and 9 pm at Whyte Hall's Brandon Fradd Theater in Fire Island Pines.

What began as a small, grassroots concert performed at The Center in 2006 quickly grew into a highly anticipated event presented in Broadway's best theatres. Monday night marks the return of Broadway Backwards- Broadway's annual gender-swapped celebration of love and the LGBT community. In its 12 editions, Broadway Backwards has raised more than $3.4 million for Broadway Cares and The Center.

The Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDSBoard of Trustees, at its February 22, 2018, meeting, honored Paul Libin, its president for the last 24 years, with a special $100,000 grant to The Actors Fund to create the Paul Libin Center. Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and Tony Award winning actor David Hyde Pierce deserve a standing ovation for their recent donations to CaringKind, NYC's leading expert in Alzheimer's and dementia care for more than three decades. The non-profit recently received a $25,000 contribution from BC/EFA, which was matched by Pierce for a total of $50,000 that will fund CaringKind's free programs and services for the thousands of individuals, families and caregivers affected by an Alzheimer's or dementia diagnosis.
