Andrew Kuhlman of STAGES ST. LOUIS at The Ross Family Theater

BroadwayWorld recently had the opportunity to sit down with STAGES St. Louis associate producer Andrew Kuhlman. Andrew is a Best Musical Tony nominee as associate producer for The Prom. He is an educator who has taught both at the high school and collegiate levels. He is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria Illinois and majored in Theater Performance. Andrew made the decision to return to St. Louis following graduation to pursue his career in the arts and spend time with his aging grandmother, putting family before his career. It is to the benefit of the vibrant St. Louis theater scene that Andrew lends his talents to help stage the Broadway caliber productions at STAGES St. Louis.
11th STL Teen Talent Competition Finals Will Be Broadcast on Nine PBS

The Fabulous Fox Theatre opened their stage door to welcome the 14 Finalist Acts (21 students) in the 11th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition produced by the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation (FoxPACF).  Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the competition Finals were filmed for a special broadcast airing on Nine PBS on Monday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m.

The Muny Board of Directors announced today the appointment of Kwofe Coleman as the theatre's next president and CEO, effective January 1, 2022. He will succeed Denny Reagan, who has been with The Muny since 1968, and has served as president and CEO since 1991.

Tivoli Theatre to Reopen in 2021 Under New Ownership

The theater has been sold to One Family Church, which has rented space there for 10 years for weekly services. Developer Joe Edwards will also sell the building’s third and fourth floors to Integrity Web Consulting, a firm that has used the office space there for several years.

The St. Louis Black Repertory Company continues its season of virtual programming with a mainstage production of HOME, a moving love story by American Playwright and screenwriter Samm-Art Williams. The production will be streamed on Vimeo beginning April 15 and run through April 25. Home was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding New Play. It premiered at The Negro Ensemble Company and transferred to Broadway in 1980.
