The Kings Theatre, Portsmouth welcomed SIX the musical last week.   The weeklong run at The Kings coincided with the 40th Anniversary of Henry VIII’s  favourite warship, The Mary Rose, going on display to the public in Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard. They are Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky as Catherine of Aragon, Baylie Carson as Anne Boleyn, Claudia Kariuki as Jane Seymour, Dionne Ward-Anderson as Anna of Cleves, Koko Basigara as Katherine Howard and Roxanne Couch as Catherine Parr.

Worldwide hit musical SIX, created by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, played the first of  three open-air concert performances at Hampton Court Palace, reuniting the original West End Queens and performing within the iconic main courtyard of their infamous ex-husband’s former residence. The current West End Queendom are Jarneia Richard-Noel (as Catherine of Aragon), Courtney Bowman (Anne Boleyn), Natalie Paris (Jane Seymour), Alexia McIntosh (Anna of Cleves), Vicki Manser (Katherine Howard), Danielle Steers (Catherine Parr), with Zara MacIntosh (Alternate Catherine of Aragon and Katherine Howard), Cherelle Jay (Alternate Anne Boleyn and Anna of Cleves), Hana Stewart (Alternate Jane Seymour and Catherine Parr), Collette Guitart (Dance Captain/Understudy).

Toby Marlow, one of the writers of smash-hit West End musical SIX, proved to be The Greatest Showman yesterday when he stepped in to save two performances of the show threatened by cast illness.

The cast of SIX on the West End celebrated their 100th performance this weekend. The audience on Saturday evening even got to take away a piece of the celebration cake!
