Celebrate 'Pi Day' at Waitress! Customers who purchase tickets at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre Box Office (256 West 47 Street) on Wednesday March 14th beginning at 10am will get a free pie jar with purchase.

Katharine McPhee is currently in rehearsal to take over the role of Jenna in Waitress on April 10th. She recently shared some videos to her Instagram story of herself rehearsing some songs from the show.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Stephanie Torns, the current Jenna understudy, will take over the leading role on March 13th following the exit of Sara Bareilles. Torns will star until Katharine McPhee takes over on April 10th.

The National Tour of WAITRESS - playing at the Hippodrome until February 4, 2018 - is the best version of this particular show I've seen. I originally saw the show on Broadway last summer, but I just didn't get it. It seemed a little disjointed to me. The first act is all fun, while the second act gets dark. However, after seeing last evening's performance of this story played out by this fantastic cast, I'm fully on board with what the writers had in mind.
