Singer, songwriter, author, Broadway star, and actor Sebastian Bach has released a video for “(Hold On) To The Dream,” the latest single from his forthcoming album Child Within the Man. Bach wrote or co-wrote all the album’s 11 tracks and sang all lead and backing vocals. Child Within the Man features guest appearances from John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi. The tour begins December 11 in Seattle before running down the west coast hitting Portland, several Bay Area stops in Roseville, Santa Cruz and Monterey before making it back to hometown LA for a pair of shows at the Roxy on December 18 & 19.

NEW FEDERAL THEATRE will hold its 53rd Anniversary Celebration on October 2 at Edison Ballroom, honoring Woodie King, Jr., Gabrielle Kurlander, and Sade Lythcott. The gala is chaired by Kenny Leon and Lynn Whitfield.

“The Show Must Go On” sets the stage for Columbo. A piano flourish giving way to a clean, snare-less drum pattern and guitar strum that conjures the cozy fireside intimacy of Neil Young’s “Out on the Weekend.” Bruno’s vocal riffs ebb and flow before the song blossoms into a crescendoing chorus that illuminates the path for the album ahead.

“A Strange Kind Of Beautiful” opens with a glittering piano instrumental and a Bach-style fugue, as Bruno toys with the idea of the simultaneous beauty and tragedy in love. “A Strange Kind Of Beautiful” follows “Tell Her,” album title track “Columbo,” and his first new track in three years, “We Were Never Really Friends.”

“Tell Her” is a slice of simmering R&B in which Bruno reflects on a relationship gone awry. The raw and retrospective track sees Bruno attempt to turn back time as he ruminates on all the sentiments he wished he could have expressed before it was too late. The cinematic music video is complete with a Wes Anderson-esque intro and its own title card.

Legendary art-rock group The Residents have announced FACELESS FOREVER, their 50th Anniversary Tour kicking off at the Wonder Ballroom (Portland, OR) on March 16 and hitting 22 cities before culminating in a three-night run at the Great American Music Hall (San Francisco, Calif.) from April 17 - 19, 2023.
