The hit musical sensation SIX is partnering this summer with the National Portrait Gallery for a series of events linked to the new exhibition Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens, which is running now until 8 September.

SIX has just extended its reign in the West End at the Vaudeville Theatre through to Sunday 4 May 2025. Over 152,000 seats will be going on sale as part of the new booking extension, including tickets for six new access performance dates and two new sing-along performances.

Since Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss' little show about Henry VIII's six wives first debuted in 2018 at the Edinburgh Festival, it has done rather well. It quickly moved to the West End in January 2019, before opening at its current home – the Vaudeville Theatre – in November 2021, bitting 1000 performances in December 2023. Along the way, the show has also won over 35 international awards, including two 2022 Tony Awards.

Six the Musical in London has released a statement reminding audience members to refrain from recording on their phones during the performance. Fans are reminded that the taking of audio recordings and videos is prohibited until the MegaSIX at the end of the show.

Earlier this month, some new Queens joined the musical sensation that is SIX in the West End. Thảo Therese Nguyễn, previously seen in the West End and UK & Ireland tour of Miss Saigon, is now starring as Anne Boleyn.

The Kings Theatre, Portsmouth welcomed SIX the musical last week.   The weeklong run at The Kings coincided with the 40th Anniversary of Henry VIII’s  favourite warship, The Mary Rose, going on display to the public in Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard. New photos have been released of of the 2023 wives of Henry VIII in the hit West End musical, SIX. They are Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky as Catherine of Aragon, Baylie Carson as Anne Boleyn, Claudia Kariuki as Jane Seymour, Dionne Ward-Anderson as Anna of Cleves, Koko Basigara as Katherine Howard and Roxanne Couch as Catherine Parr.

A new quintet of cast members will soon become the newest wives of Henry VIII in hit West End musical, SIX, as the show extends its run at the Vaudeville Theatre with tickets now on sale up to October 2023.
