Local Los Angeles Area theatregoers have seen veteran and award-winning actor Darryl Maximilian Robinson appear in numerous roles onstage during his 14 years as a City of Angels thespian. But usually he has performed in small and intimate venues. But this summer he will be sharing his talents in a somewhat larger forum.

The Eagles have added four additional shows for the band’s residency at SPHERE in Las Vegas featuring a total of 12 shows, over six exclusive weekends, from Friday, Sept. 20 through Saturday, Nov. 9. 

Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Betty Buckley will headline the opening night of this year’s John McDaniel’s Broadway Series, at Provincetown Town Hall on June 23, and McDaniel, the Emmy- and Grammy Award-winning music director, composer, arranger, and producer wouldn’t have it any other way.

Players Circle Theater presents an enticing lineup of highly acclaimed live entertainment throughout the summer season, ranging from sidesplitting stand-up comedy to sizzling hot musical revues. 

The Eagles have announced a residency at SPHERE in Las Vegas featuring eight shows over four exclusive weekends from Friday, Sept. 20 through Saturday, Oct. 19. The Sphere residency will offer fans the ultimate connection to the band’s legendary catalog in an immersive experience that only Sphere can provide. The general on-sale will begin Friday, June 21 at 10 AM PT.

It was a hot day with the heat index reaching 100 degrees for the kick-off of the 2024 Webmonster Concert Series at Magic Springs Theme and Water Park, 1701 East Grand Ave, in Hot Springs, with Arkansas band de France opening for the Spin Doctors Saturday, June 8. Still, what better place is there to watch an outdoor concert than at Magic Springs? You can play in the water and ride the rides with the wind blowing in your face for hours before the show starts. Then spread out your blanket or sit on your lawn chair on the grass inside the fences of the Timberwood Amphitheater, which Magic Springs had looking like some of the best Arkansas golf courses you can find. It is such an inviting venue to soak up the sun and some amazing music.  

Recently, we had the chance to speak with Wolfe about bringing Next to Normal to the West End. We discussed what it has been like to join the show as a fan of Next to Normal, the importance of mental health both on stage and off and what he hopes audiences take away from this production.
