NEXT TO NORMAL is set to premiere next summer in Barcelona with a 100% immersive format. The production will be led by Alice Ripley, who won a Tony Award in 2009 for originating the role of Diana.

I love it when I go to the theatre and there's a Vaccine Raffle! That's right, if you show your vaccine card you can be entered to win a prize! I feel like I'm back in a place where people care about the health of their community and do things like this to promote it. Crown Arts Collaborative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission of returning theatre and art to the historic Crown Uptown Stage, and to make art for the community, by like-minded artists in the community.

When 'Next to Normal' premiered in Norway back in 2010 it was the very first production to open after the original on Broadway a year and half prior. It was not a replica production, but mimicked it in a lot of ways. It had the three floor structure, endless amount of lightbulbs in the ceilings. This revival, that opened at Lørenskog Hus last Friday, is anything but a replica.

Uptown Players is proud to present the world premiere of A Very Sordid Wedding, based on Del Shores’ 2017 hit film of the same name. A Very Sordid Wedding will be the final installment of the postponed Uptown Players 2020 season, and performances will run September 24th through October 3rd at the Kalita Humphreys Theater.

Theatre Communications Group has announced the recipients of the first round of the 2021 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards, totaling $1,072,000, allow 28 productions extra time for the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, hoping to extend the life of the world premiere play after its first run.
