Sydney Festival returns this January to give the city its sizzle with an exhilarating line-up of vibrant ideas, irrepressible creativity, remarkable talent and pure summertime revelry across 25 days from 5-29 January 2023. 

Homes At Night — made up of songwriters Hank Compton and Aksel Coe — create alternative pop/rock anthems that blur the boundaries between genre and generation. It's a sound that's both nostalgic and modern, layered with organic instruments, synth-driven soundscapes, cinematic hooks, and a percussive pulse.

The video (directed by Ludovic Sauvage) complements the track’s nocturnal longing, with a shadowy, blu-lit dal Forno superimposed over a shot of blooming, pale pink tulips with a starkly contrasting black backdrop; appearing like a nighttime singing apparition, over a precise, driving bass and atmospheric synths that twinkle, buzz, and ring out.

The Bad Dog Theatre Company will celebrate over 40 years of unscripted comedy and improvised performance in Toronto by bringing back its flagship show Theatresports every Friday for 40 weeks at Comedy Bar (945 Bloor St W) starting October 7th.
