Penguin Rep Theatre in Stony Point, New York completed casting for the world premiere of Michael McKeever's In Plain Sight, directed by Joe Brancato.

Second Stage Theater just announced complete casting for the upcoming Broadway premiere of THE FANTASTICKS, directed and  choreographed by Christopher Gattelli.  The company of THE FANTASTICKS will feature Maxim Chlumecky (Appropriate, Harry Potter and the Cursed  Child) as The Boy (Matt), Kevin del Aguila (Some Like It Hot, Frozen) as The Man Who Dies (Mortimer), David  Patrick Kelly (Once, The Warriors) as The Old Actor (Henry), Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer (Spamalot, Beetlejuice) as Matt’s Mother (Mildred Hucklebee), Nathan Levy (& Juliet, Aladdin) as The Boy (Lewis), Ruthie Ann Miles (Sweeney Todd, The King and I) as Lewis’ Mother (Bessie Mae Bellomy), Zane Phillips (“The Comeback,” “Mid Century Modern,” Fire Island) as The Narrator (El Gallo), and Ahmad Simmons (Illinoise, Hadestown) as The  Mute. Mr. Phillips will be making his Broadway debut.  

Steven Huynh and Claire Kwon will reprise their Broadway roles as the MAYBE HAPPY ENDING North American tour launches in Baltimore on September 13, 2026, with over 30 additional cities to follow.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced the full cast and creative team for August Wilson's SEVEN GUITARS, directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.

The new musical HOT JAMBALAYA is currently heating up the stage at Horizon Theatre in Atlanta through June 21st, bringing audiences a wildly entertaining mix of murder mystery, comedy, New Orleans flavor, and original music. SIX THE MUSICAL has announced a new Australian cast for its upcoming return, with seasons at Melbourne's Comedy Theatre, Theatre Royal Sydney, and QPAC's Playhouse Theatre featuring six queens including Sarah Murr, Mia Paris Scalise, and Lorinda May Merrypor.

The American Theatre Guild will present HADESTOWN, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

Hadestown will welcome back original Broadway cast member Jewelle Blackman. Blackman will join original cast members Jessie Shelton and Kay Trinidad as the ‘Fates’ for 11 weeks before the three take their final bow on Sunday, July 19.

MADAME INFAMY, the musical tracing the parallel lives of Sally Hemings and Marie Antoinette, will present two concert performances at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater on April 23, featuring a cast of Broadway veterans.
