The Broadway community mourns the loss of prolific producer, director, writer, and the individual recipient of the most Tony Awards in multiple categories in history, Harold Prince, who passed away on July 31, 2019 at age 91. To commemorate his life and work, the Committee of Theatre Owners will dim the lights of Broadway theatres in New York for one minute on Wednesday, July 31 at exactly 7:45pm.

Ahead of the release of their debut album Days You Were Leaving (Bar None Records) Rose Dorn have dropped a new single entitled “Champ.” The track debuted via FLOOD Magazine and the band's Scarlet Knight told them “'Champ' is about my time in high school and trying to figure out who I was. The lyric 'All my friends are in my hand the computer that I continue to hold on' is specifically about the time when Joey, Jamie and I were becoming close friends. I'd walk around school texting them all day, head fully in my phone.

Broadway's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, is currently in its third record-smashing year at the Music Box Theatre. Following the success of the Broadway production, a national tour launched soon after, bringing the story across North America. A sit-down production made its way to Toronto earlier this year, and will be followed by a West End production set to debut in October 2019 at the Noel Coward Theatre.
