As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the new Broadway musical Tootsie will conclude its critically acclaimed Broadway run today, January 5, 2020. Upon closing, the musical will have played 293 regular and 25 preview performances at the Marquis Theatre (210 W 46th St).

 Comedy Central announced today that The Daily Show with Trevor Noah is launching The Daily Show Podcast Universe, a new and original five-episode miniseries, as part of its growing Global Podcast Network on January 13, 2020. Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue, will present its 45th annual Thunderbird American Dancers Dance Concert and Pow Wow from January 24 to February 2, 2019. Today Guns N' Roses have announced an extra UK date on their 2020 world tour, due to phenomenal demand for the first show. This will make Guns N' Roses the first music act to play at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
