Oak Park Festival Theatre will be honored with a Special Equity Award at the 57th Annual Joseph Jefferson Awards on September 29, 2025. The recognition coincides with the company’s 50th anniversary season, celebrating its historic partnership with the Park District of Oak Park, expanded programming, and doubled attendance since 2022.

A Chorus Line, featuring music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, and book by James Kirkwood, Jr. and Nicholas Dante, first opened in 1975 under the direction of Michael Bennett with co-choreographer Bob Avian.

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band, featuring Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Hamish Stuart, Warren Ham, Buck Johnson, and Gregg Bissonette, returns for a third year to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas from Sept. 24-27.

 BrightSide Theatre has announced the cast and production team for THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, the opening production of its 14th season.

Did you know that the Richard Rodgers Theatre, current home of Hamilton, has housed more Best Musical Tony Award winners than any other Broadway house? Since the Tony Awards began in 1947 and began issuing a Best Musical Award in 1949, nine Best Musicals have played the Richard Rodgers Theatre, which used to be named the 46th Street Theatre.

Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her.
