A new Broadway season is here, full of exciting new shows and revivals of beloved classics. While many of them are original concepts or based on plays, some are based on books or the lives of famous people or real events, which you can add to your reading list. The 33rd Annual Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival (LAWTF) will present awards to six women for their significant contributions to theatre on March 26, 2026. The event, featuring a Champagne GALA and Awards Ceremony, will take place at Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood, CA. In a charming tale set in the animal kingdom, New York Theatre Ballet's “Once Upon a Ballet” series presents Carnival of the Animals for six shows, Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29  at 11:00 A.M., 1:00 P.M., and 3:30 P.M each day.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre will present THE CRUCIBLE by Arthur Miller from April 3 through April 26 on the MET Mainstage in downtown Frederick, Maryland. Directed by Julie Herber, the production revisits Miller’s 1953 drama set during the Salem witch trials of 1692.
