Voctave is an 11-member a cappella group from the Central Florida area known for gorgeous performances of Disney and Broadway hitsa?"as well as beautifully arranged holiday songs. The group formed in the winter of 2015, with roots in the Walt Disney Entertainment worlda?"but the group's range does not stop there. From gospel music to musical theater, contemporary Christian to barbershop, pop music to choral specialties, Voctave voices have covered it all, both in and out of the a cappella realm.

Producer Mark Cortale's Broadway concert series, hosted and music directed by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky, will return to San Francisco for the 2020 season at the Herbst Theatre in the iconic San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center. There's a new Dance Movie, which opened nationwide Friday, October 11th, that's sure to advance the genre in popularity. In the last few decades “Dirty Dancing,” “Footloose,” “Flashdance,” “Saturday Night Fever,” “Staying Alive” and more recently “La La Land” all caused quite a stir when they hit theatres, and many of them are still quite popular today.
“High Strung Free Dance” and it's predecessor “High Strung' (2016) has everything you could want to see and hear in a film about dance, music and dancers. Written and produced by professional dancer Janine Best Damian “Solid Gold” and numerous film and television appearances, and her talented actor/singer/director/composer/husband Michael Damian (Joseph in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”/Broadway; 18 years appearing on “The Young and the Restless,” among many other credits for directing, as a vocalist and creating soundtracks for films he's also directed). This latest film is one out of 13 films he has written and produced with Janeen, as well as directed; ”Marley and Me: The Puppy Years,' the “Flicka” franchise, and more.

The Axelrod Performing Arts Center added an extra show this season-Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat-for beachgoing theatergoers on the Jersey Shore. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's first collaboration, which has had many lives over its fifty years, has been reimagined by director-choreographer Matthew Steffens and musical directorconductor Andrew Sotomayor. "So much of the score is iconic, but we had a tremendous desire to freshen it up, so we have voices and orchestrated the production so this is a one-of-a-kind production just for the Axelrod," says Steffens.
