Last night, August 2, the cast and creative team of Pretty Woman the Musical paid tribute to the film's director, the late, great Garry Marshall. Speeches were given by the musical's director Jerry Mitchell, producer Paula Wagner, and Marshall's family, Kathleen Marshall, Scott Marshall, and Barbara Marshall. Also in attendance for the evening was Julia Roberts, the film's original star! Pretty Woman is about to strut its stuff on across the Broadway stage as it begins previews on July 20th at the Nederlander Theatre. Ezra Knight joins the cast as 'James Morse', replacing Kingsley Leggs who departed the production for personal reasons. Leggs is expected to return in September.

Samantha Barks, star of upcoming musical Pretty Woman, joined the show's composer Bryan Adams during one of his concerts in London last month to perform a song form the show, titled 'I Can't Go Back.'

Three-time Tony Award nominee and Laurence Olivier Award winner Andy Karl will star as 'Edward Lewis' in PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Karl will assume the role from Steve Kazee who departs the production for family reasons.
