Oh! Calcutta! is an avant-garde theatrical revue, created by British drama critic Kenneth Tynan. The show, consisting of sketches on sex-related topics, debuted Off-Broadway in 1969 and then in London in 1970. It ran in London for over 3,900 performances, and in New York initially for 1,314. Revivals enjoyed even longer runs, including a Broadway revival that ran for 5,959 performances, making the show the longest-running revue in Broadway history at the time.
Cabaret singer Tammy Faye Starlite is bringing her show Nico Underground, exploring the subversive singer Nico perhaps best known for singing with the Velvet Underground. The show runs at Joe's Pub every Wednesday night at 9:30 pm from May 1 to May 22. We spoke with Tammy about the inspiration behind the show and the process of putting it together.

Singer, songwriter, author, Broadway star, and actor Sebastian Bach has released a video for “(Hold On) To The Dream,” the latest single from his forthcoming album Child Within the Man. Bach wrote or co-wrote all the album’s 11 tracks and sang all lead and backing vocals. Child Within the Man features guest appearances from John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi. Acclaimed singer-songwriter Amos Lee has announced his eagerly awaited new album, Transmissions, available Friday, August 9. Transmissions sees Amos Lee continuing to expand his sonic range while sharpening his closely observed lyrics that squarely address death, aging, and love. Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Wilderado – Max Rainer (lead singer, guitarist), Tyler Wimpee (guitarist, vocals), Justin Kila (drums) – released the lyric video for 'Tomorrow' from UK visual artist Edd Carr. This marks the band's third collaboration with Carr who created last month's lyric video for 'Sometimes' and last fall's single “In Between ft. Matt Berninger.' Watch the video here!
