Birthday Candles is back! The company of Noah Haidle's new play met the press on March 12, 2020, just hours before Broadway officially shut down. Now, they return at last for a limited engagement at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street).

The star crossed lovers – Romeo (Nikita Burshteyn) and Bernadette (Anna Kostakis) were reunited this week for the first time in 2 years when they met with the show’s director/choreographer Justin Ross Cohen for a photo shoot in anticipation of the show’s return.  Check out the fun video!

In early December, I had a chance to speak with Brian Blythe, one of the creators of the Costume Industry Coalition and the Showstoppers exhibit that ran until December 5th in Times Square. KAREN MASON has announced that the new music video for the song “We Never Ran Out of Love (We Just Ran Out of Time)” is available today, Monday, December 13. The video is edited by Michael Lee Stever. It was the recipient of the 2020 “Jamie deRoy Songwriting Award” from The ASCAP Foundation, given to its songwriter Paul Rolnick.
