Broadway Under The Stars And City Stage from Wilmington Hosts RENT Auditions 7/3

Broadway under the Stars in conjunction with City Stage from Wilmington will present RENT July 2 & 3 at Raleigh's new downtown amphitheater. Local auditions for the production will be held June 12 in Wilmington from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Roudabush building located on the corner of Front and Dock Streets. On June 13 auditions will be held in Raleigh in Fletcher Hall located in the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with callbacks starting at
3 p.m.

Actors need to bring headshots and resumes and prepare the song "Will I" for auditions.

Following the outdoor performances additional shows will be available to patrons in Fletcher Hall, located in the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts, July 8,9,10 and 15,16,17. This will be one of the first productions of RENT ever performed in an amphitheater and will showcase the flexibility of the new Raleigh Amphitheater located in Downtown Raleigh adjacent to the Shimmer Wall at the New Raleigh Convention Center.

Tickets to the show are $15, $25 & $35 for the Raleigh Amphitheater dates and $25 & $35 for the Fletcher Hall engagement and are on sale now by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com or visiting the Box Office, Monday - Friday, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
