Panoramic Dance Project Concert: An Unfinished Freedom at Stewart Theatre

The Panoramic Dance Project will present An Unfinished Freedom, a multidisciplinary performance exploring freedom not as a fixed state but as an ongoing process of becoming. This program will showcase dance, poetry, music and visual art, honoring struggle, imagination and the unfinished work of liberation. It will feature a moving new piece choreographed by Panoramic's director Christa Oliver, created in collaboration with NC Poet Laureate Jaki Shelton Green, internationally acclaimed visual artist and educator Maya Freelon, award-winning actress and solo performance artist Kadejah One’, and internationally recognized composer and sound artist Michael Wall. The program will also include new works by former Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre dancer Christopher Huggins, Brandon "Nocentss" McCrimmon, Vladimir Espinosa, and Megan Moss.
